It’s an attempt to keep old and new chipmusic, modular soundscapes, demoscene tracker files, hardware jam tapes, outsider electronic drones, field recordings and other DIY scene-based music alive and broadly available.

It offers artists and partnered labels the widest distribution at its disposal (Spotify, Apple, MixCloud, SoundCloud Go, Shazam and Tidal, along with many others) as the music landscape changes from free file sharing to streaming services and beyond.

SYDNEY CITY CHIPTUNE MINISTIES has partnered with local indie labels COOL COMATOSE, BDF INDUSTRIES, SPITTING.IMG RECORDS, BIRD’S ROBE and DIM CHAMBER as well as local Spotify curators BEATS // BREAKS // BASS to further support the scene in Sydney/Cadigal.
